ENHANCING EDUCATION FOR MULTILINGUAL LEARNERS

Dual Ed NC provides professional consultation, educational research, program development, and teacher training to education agencies to develop new programs or evaluate the effectiveness of programs targeting multilingual learners (MLs).

Building on the research of successful programs across the country, Dual ED NC provides expert consultation for districts and schools who are considering the adoption of a language program to implement in their schools that supports language learners. The mission is to establish relationships with educational experts to develop a streamlined process for incorporating successful programs for MLs in public schools.

Extensive years of experience and research with MLs allows our experts to offer knowledgeable, hands-on guidance for district leaders, school administrators, coaches and teachers. We collaborate to develop executive plans and resources that are tailored to meet the needs of your stakeholders, including administrators, teachers, students and communities. The evaluation of current program status and the addition of recommendations to development and implement successful pedagogy is founded upon the combination of over thirty years of educational expertise. Our Vision

The vision of Dual Ed NC is to build upon the pedagogy of successful teaching models to provide consultation for districts and schools who are considering the adoption of a program targeting MLs or have begun to implement one in their schools. The mission is to establish relationships with educational experts across the country and offer expert advice regarding the process from adoption through implementation. Current literature provides strong evidence for the effectiveness of multi-language programs for all students. Implementing the optimal model to serve the needs of your demographic makeup is critical to sustain a successful program. Working with administrative teams to elect the best model, build curriculum aligned with state and national standards, and develop teacher capacity to support implementation fidelity is our ultimate goal. It is critical that we collaborate with all members of district teams on curriculum development, evaluations, and coaching during the implementation process to improve student academic success.
